Hustle Financial Aid

Guidelines:
  • It is the Centerville Hustle Basketball Club’s (CHBC) financial policy that the applicable registration fee is paid following assignment to a team for select programs and at registration/evaluation for recreational programs (i.e., Little Hustle, Hustle JV, Intermediate, Club). Occasionally, a family’s financial circumstances are such that immediate full payment is not possible. In these circumstances, the CHBC Board is open to a modified payment plan. Requests for a modified payment plan need to be submitted in writing to Chuck Cowgill, CHBC President, P.O. Box 751903, Centerville, OH 45475. Your request needs to clearly state the reason for the request and the proposed modified payment plan.
  • There may also be times when a family’s financial circumstances are such that financial assistance may be needed. It is asked that families requesting financial aid consider what portion, if any, of the participation fee they are able to pay. 
  • Financial aid can only be used for CHBC registration fees and are not transferable to any other sports or organization. Incidental costs (e.g., basketball shoes, transportation to and from practices and tournaments, food/beverages at practices and tournaments, gate admission to tournaments) are excluded from financial aid consideration.
  • Financial aid will be granted only if funds are available. 
  • Families who receive any financial aid are required to invest volunteer time in the CHBC program (e.g., registration, evaluation, picture day). 
  • Applications should be completed and post marked prior to the start of tryouts/registration.
  • All application and financial information provided are strictly confidential and will only be shared with those involved in the financial aid decision making process. 
  • After the application deadline, applicants will be notified either in person, by mail or phone as to the outcome of their financial aid request in a timely manner. 
  • If approved for financial aid, the remaining program registration fees, if any, and deposits (e.g., volunteer) are due at the time of team selection. 
  • If selected for a team, failure to fulfill other program obligations regarding any remaining program fees due or volunteer commitments may jeopardize future financial aid for the family and/or player eligibility for the current and future seasons.
